1 and BP Challis Vizslanya Eritrea 9mthb nicely balanced and pleasing overall shape, medium sized with ample bone, head shape and development is appropriate for her age, good lay of shoulder and neat elbows, just a little weak in pasterns at present but she has much maturing to do, deep chest and firm topline, covers the ground well in profile

1 and BOB G2 Challis Highforce Future Legend for Vizslanya, an absolute stunner of a dog, richly coated who reminds me so much of the old type where there was more bone and substance but still with elegance, this 15mth d has a strong handsome head with width between the ears and moderate stop, correct bite and good eye and nose pigment, strong muscular neck into well laid shoulders and tidy elbows, straight forelegs and strong pasterns, compact body with a good spring of rib and in muscular condition all through. Carries himself well on the move and displays excellent rear drive. Delighted to hear he gained 2nd in a huge group congratulations.
PostGraduate [1[ As PG O [2] 1 and RBOB Challis Tarafield Anya Panni By Vizslanya and elegant and feminine 2 ½ yr b, lovely outline and standing on good legs and feet, clean neck and good lay of shoulders, moderate amount of forechest with a good depth of chest, strong in topline and loin, a sound mover but not the attitude of the J winner, I preferred her head to that of 2 Gibbons Silvestre Blazing Saddles.

1st Kennedy & Paterson’s Galerita Mari Berrie. 8 month old bitch very lively young girl, feminine expression with oval dark brown eye, set in a head of good proportions nice outline on the stand and coming from good angles front & rear.

1st Kennedy’s Greymantle Brite Sparkle In Peakdreams. Nicely balanced young bitch, a little unsettled on the move but had a pleasing topline, head of pleasing proportions with strong lower jaw and scissor bite. Deep chest , nicely sprung rib, correct coat texture.

PASTORAL GROUP. I shortlisted several dogs including the gorgeous Swedish Vallhund CH /IR CH Eriksfjord Chilled Bunny For Jarlalfvin, who had every chance of winning this group until he threw it all away in the run off. I do hope I will judge him again somewhere soon.

G1 and RBIS Border Collie Lampiers Tonkory Mark Time [A1] 2 yr b shown in beautiful coat and condition, lovely head and eye, good forelegs and feet, maybe a tad too compact in body for perfection but she really moved out well keeping herself low and retaining a strong topline 2 Estrela Deans Drika Da Costa Deste At Asterel (imp PT) wow I loved this girl who pushed hard all the way, in beautiful coat, and condition, strong in head yet no denying her sex, well ribbed and with strong quarters, so very sound on the out and back 3 Briard Canty and Halls Hartswelin Counting Stars For Bargemon , one I have judged before and liked, she is so well presented with an excellent topline held on the move 4 Samoyed Moody and Haffendens Novasyka Lysandro Lefay pleasing head and smiley expression, dark eye and strong neck, moved out well across the ring

PG1 Samoyed Freers Taronakits its Karmen not the first time I’ve judged this young girl and I just love her attitude and how she is totally at one with her handler, in gleaming coat, gorgeous head and eye, only a youngster but so very sound with that lovely brisk movement one expects to see in the breed. 2 Border Collie Gregory’s Tonkory Some Have It, another lovely exhibit from this kennel who pushed the winner all the way, economical in movement and covering the ground with ease 3 Smooth Collie Lustys Blamorder Bring Him Home, one of my favourite Pastoral breeds and so often overlooked, good head shape with a lovely almond eye and well set and well used ears, straight forelegs and good feet, a true mover who keeps his topline at all time. 4 OES Crane Duplock and Duplocks Shaggy Blue Bobs Way To Go With Moreno (imp Deu) very much the baby of the bunch but a confident youngster and she can move ! Well presented and handled.

Close decision between these two. 1 Precey’s Detrick Once In A Blue Moon, 8 mths tri bitch with a lot to like, nice feminine head with good ear set, good length of neck onto well placed shoulders, level topline which was held on the move. This bitch showed lovely driving action today. 2 Mitchell & Wright’s Huntshill Teasel, another nice feminine 8mth tri bitch, shorter mould than one, lovely angulation throughout, good sound movement out and back but just didn’t seem to settle in her surroundings today.

1. Mitchell & Wright’s Huntshill Tornado, stood alone but well deserved his placing, so well put together for one so young, a dog with soft expression onto good length of neck, correct angulations throughout, level topline held consistently throughout. So balanced on movement and sound out and back, can see a bright future for this chap. Could not deny him BPIB and later her went HPG2 (only beaten by the BPIS winner) .

1 Webster’s Moonjoon Lily Of The Valley For Hounscoast, 3yr old tan and white bitch, well developed showing good muscle tone throughout, good level topline held on the move, showing drive from those powerful quarters, well handled. 2 Roderick’s Barterhound Gossip, 2yr old open marked tri bitch, pleasing head with lovely ear set, would like a bit more length of neck but showed a nice outline, good steady sound movement. 3 Precey’s Misken Skye

1 Brown’s Raimex Rowenberry JW, 8yr old open marked tri bitch, not showing her years, lovely shape to this bicth and good front, like her overall outline and showing good sound movement around the ring. Well-toned muscles throughout, lovely to see a veteran in such good condition, could not deny her BOB. 2 Precey’s Stormpasture Trump Card Over Detrick, smart open marked 4yr old tri bitch, slightly shorter mould than one, shows a nice outline when stacked, well bodied up and nice rear angulation, just a tad heavy in front. 3 Mitchell & Wright’s Barrvale Ursa Minor At Huntshill ShCM.

Thank you for giving me such a good entry, I felt lucky to have so many lovely dogs to go over, although pleased with my winners I did find some with a rather short upper arm or flat ribs , some mini smooths were shown rather plump and could easily weigh nearer to the 5kg , a little shocked at the cleanliness of some exhibits teeth. Good movement from correct construction, for me, was what won the classes

Outward going and confident. he moved true and boldly around the ring , nicely constructed with plenty of bone and good feet, pleasing head , well angulated with a fair length of ribbing. 2nd Higgins’ Ralines Just Jewels 10 mth dog puppy, confident puppy with a good coat, quite well angulated with well developed fore chest, depth of body and ribbing. Won this class on her lithe and flexible body shape, good length that should enable her to correctly do her job. Shown in good coat and had a good pelt. Her movement was a little erratic and she needs to settle better and quicker on the move so that her beautiful shape and type can be enjoyed. When she did settle she had a good easy gait. BP    2. Junior (4, 2abs) 1st Groves & Lafford’s Lateagain Satisfaction. Also 3rd in puppy, he seemed to get it together better in this class. A nice dog of correct size and enough substance for a puppy, he needs to mature yet but I think he will have a promising future. Square, balanced outline with enough forechest, topline firm and carried well on the move, tight feet and nice lay of pasterns. Post Graduate (6, 2abs) 1st Quigley, Day & Piper’s Swynydwr’s Dancing Queen. Black and tan bitch, correct size, square and balanced. Classic head with level planes, dark eyes and nice tight lips. Good lay of shoulder, nice spring of rib, enough length of loin holding topline strong and firm. Moved out well with reach and drive. Limit (3, 0abs) 1st Caldicott’s Amazon Russian Roulette With Philmont JW Black and tan male with plenty of substance and ring presence, a square, balanced dog, head in proportion to body, masculine but not overdone, keen expression and dark eyes. Excellent front angulation, good spring of rib and strong forechest, plenty of bone and tight feet. Strong, firm topline with correct tailset and correct rear angulation. Moved out well with plenty of drive. I really liked this dog he just didn’t get it together well enough in the challenge. 2nd Nicoll-Jones, Bennett & Mycroft’s Supeta’s In Yer Dreams With Kyricia

Topline level and strong, good spring of rib, enough bone and correct lay of pasterns. Moved out well once he got it together, he had drive and nothing turned in nor out. I really liked him as soon as he entered the ring unfortunately he just didn’t get it together on the move today. 2nd Groves’ Lateagain Heart Of Gold

Puppy 1 Allen’s Siberiadrift Keep The Love For Zimavolk. Striking brown and white youngster. Pleasing typical head with alert expression piercing pale eyes, brown nose. Lithe, well balanced with excellent shoulders and equally good rear angulation, enough depth of chest for a youngster. Moved out quite well with drive and good tail carriage. Good coat. Best Dog.
Junior 1 Facey’s Pelenrise Chat Up Line Of Nordicface. Black and white dog. Good head with fairly strong skull. Quite typical expression. Good body line with excellent coat. Moved ok
Post Graduate 1 Yerill’s Alepenkye Fruit Loops. Black and white. Pleasing expression with fairly good head although quite slight. Body lines okay with quite good front and rear angulation. He did appear to be very narrow and quite slender however. Moved quite erratically and seemed unsettled.

Postgraduate [2,1abs] 1 and RBOB and BP Pierpoints Chepam Xcalibur Litter brother of the junior winner, A well grown well boned youngster but not overdone in anyway, masculine head, strong neck and well laid shoulders, stands almost square and presents a pleasing shape, moved true on the out and back, at this stage of development he slightly better covered than his sister at this stage which swung it for me in the challenge for BP.

Open [2]1 and BOB G1 Simmons Chepam Woronora, 18mth b so beautifully constructed which shows in her sound and powerful movement, good head shape with dark eye and small well set ears, straight forelegs excellent topline and spring of rib, compact in body with a good bend of stifle and well muscled quarters, a free an easy mover covering the ground with good drive. Delighted to see her win a strongly represented group.

PG3 Tibbs Zeleski Mr Bojangles 11mth red d, a pleasing youngster with strong bone and a good size head, short strong neck, well laid shoulders, broad through the chest, a little weak in pasterns currently but as with a lot of heavy breeds this should correct itself with maturity, he sets himself low to the ground and moved out with total soundness, one with a bright future for sure.

Postgraduate [1] 1 and BOB Mc Caffertys Dearchary Twist N Shout 2 yr b in lovely coat but spoilt by being over trimmed underneath ! Feminine head with dark eye, very balanced on the stack with good bone and lovely feet, well bent stifles, rather an exuberant mover but showed good drive once she settled.

Vearcombe and Hale – Rubymist Cherry Manhattan with, Ruption Knightcott – fawn bitch 10 months old , lots to like about this young lady, very feminine head with correct stop, good width and depth of muzzle, good bite, nice dark eyes, neat ear set, body developing nicely with a deep chest and short back, good tail set super feet, moved freely at one with her handler, presented in excellent condition. Junior (2,1) 1. Myles – Ewnybox The Special One for Boxadore –16 months old. A Feminine brindle bitch, well balanced head, with good width and depth to muzzle, short compact body, straight front, overall picture very good , moved well. And presented in excellent condition.

Hale and Vearcombe – Ruption Blue Bombsicle – A well balanced brindle bitch, 3 years old, appealing head and expression with neat set ears, correct stop and with a broad deep muzzle, lovely dark eye with good pigmentation, strong elegant neck, good lay of shoulder, deep chest, super cat like feet, short back and loin well muscled with good rear angulation, good tail set, moved soundly with drive and purpose shown in excellent condition and at one with her handler. Vearcombe, Stansbury and Pilgrim – Ruption Blue Booty With Woodbriar JW – 3 year old brindle bitch, another quality girl with lovely head and expression, elegant neck with short back well muscled with good angulation moved soundly, just preferred the movement of 1 today.( RBOB)

Vearcombe and Hale – Macwatt We’ve Got It On with Seefeld ShCM – Fawn well developed 6 year old male, of good size and substance nicely balanced head lovely expression , good stop with broad deep muzzle, excellent lay of shoulder deep chest short back and loin, moved soundly and with purpose. 2. Scriven’s – Kenquince Master Of The Glen At Scrivbox- 2 Year old Male, well balanced head with width to skull and defined stop, neat ears, clean dark eyes, would prefer slightly more lay in shoulders, neat feet, good spring of rib, moderate bend of stifle, moved well.

BULLMASTIFF

Puppy (4,2) 1. Bilson and Owen – Zobullea’s Kooler Than Me At Keeperswatch – Red dog 9 months old, of good size, maturing nicely, a very confident puppy, strong head with a broad skull, neatly set ears and kind dark eye, good width and depth of muzzle with good pigmentation, good dentition, good length of neck. Just needs to come up on the front a littlee to complete the picture, neat feet, moved steady around the ring, at one with his handler. Shown in excellent condition. BPIB (Puppy Group 3) 2. Bilson – Zobullea’s Dark Side – Brindle Bitch 9 months old, well off for size and bone, a strong head but retaining her femininity with a lovely expression, good pigmentation, correct ear set, dark eyes, excellent stop and broad muzzle, neat catlike feet. She was a little unsettled on the move at first she is still very much a baby with lots of time to settle and mature.

Open (5, 3) 1. Aston and Bradley – Eternalpride Beauty – a well balanced confident 2 year old red bitch, with good proportions throughout. Strong but not overdone feminine head, lovely expression with lovely dark eyes and neat ear set, excellent stop with good width of muzzle, excellent dentition and pigmentation. Well off for bone. Good width of chest and deep brisket with good lay of shoulder and well sprung ribs, muscular well arched neck, good topline. Strong muscular hindquarters with well developed second thigh. Movement was true coming and going, moved soundly with purpose and drive holding her topline on the move. Well presented and handled superbly. BOB. 2. Aston and Bradley – Eternalpride Rose Quartz, 4 year old red bitch, another quality bitch with strong head dark eyes and neat ear set, preferred head of 1, well constructed body movement was sound, true coming and going, held topline , presented and handled superbly. Junior (2,1) 1. Smith’s – Auldhelm Clementina- Brown bitch 11 months old. A well balanced puppy with a pleasing head, good size skull with strong jaw and good dentition, nice dark eye, a good depth of brisket, well muscled with good bone, well angulated hind quarters, good coat. Moved soundly and true holding her topline. BPIB.

Lovely balanced young lady with a well developed feminine head, good pigmentation and a lovely expression, correct bite, nice strong neck with well placed shoulders and strong front nicely sprung ribcage with short back and strong loin, good rear angulation, Nice dense coat with lovely texture. Moved soundly holding her topline, good tail set carried her tail well. BOB. 2. Johns – IR CH Gemson Rabelias – 9 year old black dog, a broad skull which is correct in proportions to muzzle, a nice dark eye , broad front with well muscled body well sprung ribcage, well developed hind quarters a sound mover holding topline. Eden’s Woollinoze Chewbacca, Black male 2 years old of good size and substance, well balanced with a lovely outline, nice dark eyes, scissor bite, lovely reach of neck and good lay of shoulder, nicely sprung rib cage, good rear angulation, moved well.
